What we have here is completely enormous for Glam rock freaks, but also not averse to a little newer sound. Have no fear its Ur-Glamster, The Deadthings are rockin’ in the styles of the Murderdolls, Gemini 5 or Beautyful Creatures and that tastes good to me. The whole thing is then aided with cool Gimmicks and could surely leave no Glamdog cold. Visually the Deadthings gives a Mix of Misfits and the artists mentioned above. Correctly cool becomes it then with Songs "Welcome to the horror show" or "trick or Treat" the spirit of such things as Halloween (USA) and Lizzy Borden and old Motley Crue .
The group are from down Under, yes, The Deadthings come from that other side of the world and kick big time ass.
The Overall theme song of The Deadthings is without doubt, the great piece of hammer "Sign to Of the Devil". The song is simply brilliant and at concerts could provide at volume some Mosh pit frenzy. The song is like that great that one would like to listen to it several-day-long so loud that it causes the Koala bear to drop the Eucalyptus from their fingers!
The Deadthings are loud, great and Glam, they have even gone to the trouble to give themselves aliases, cult, cult. It’s hard to believe the album is from 2004 and rocks it self in such a great way into my brain. Trick Or Teat , On Halloween I’ll make you scream, how great is that??
